What are your towels made of?

Our towels are made from 100% Turkish cotton and handwoven in Turkey.

What is a peshtemal?

A peshtemal is a traditional flat-woven Turkish towel. It is lighter and thinner than a terry towel, dries quickly and packs small.

What can I use them for?

Beach, bath, pool, gym, picnics, travel — or as a light throw or scarf.

How do I care for my towel?

Machine wash with similar colors, tumble dry low or line dry, and skip bleach and fabric softener. Turkish cotton gets softer and more absorbent with every wash.

Why does my new towel feel less absorbent at first?

Natural cotton fibers open up over the first few washes, so absorbency improves with use.
